Windows 7 Issues & Solutions - Sending E*Statements - Error 48389

Microsoft's new operating system has features that defy description and, in this case, even documentation for developers! We believe that this has something to do with how the MAPI control initiates a conversation with the email client and being that "Internet security" is still such a hot topic, it seems likely that it's related to a security issue of some kind. The Mail API control is a software programming tool that allows 3rd party applications such as Club Office to "hook" into the Microsoft Mail system, but at the time of this writing, there was no documentation available from Microsoft about dealing with this error code. However, through some logical thinking and trial-and-error, we have developed a solution for it:

Download and install the latest "estmt.exe" module from the Software Updates section of the Tech Support web site. This is a revised module that scans for this new error code when it occurs and resets a couple things internally before continuing on. In testing, the remainder of the e*statement functions are unchanged,
