The folks at Microsoft, Best Buy and even the editors of some magazines talk pretty loosely about how easy it is to set up networking, install and upgrade software, It's true that it's NOT brain surgery, although after trying to figure out what's wrong with the network can certainly FEEL like you've just had a lobotomy. If you plan to do it yourself, plan to do a lot of reading and experimenting. Or, if you'd rather save all the hassle, time and expense, make friends with a local computer tech person.
